General & Restorative Dentistry in Sunny Isles Beach
The unglamorous work that decides whether you ever need the glamorous work. Done well, it is invisible for twenty years.
Everyday dentistry held to a specialist standard — because most large problems began as a small one treated carelessly. We screen your case against the credential, the case volume and the technology it actually needs, then make one introduction. Free, and usually within a few hours.

Every general treatment, explained properly.
What it is, what it costs here, who should be performing it, and how to tell whether the plan you have been offered is a good one.
Gum Care
Periodontal disease removes bone silently and painlessly for years. By the time a tooth feels loose, most of what held it is already gone.

The procedure has a reputation built on how it felt in 1975. Under a microscope with modern instrumentation, it is routine — and it is how you keep your own tooth.

A crown replaces the outer surface of a tooth entirely. Done well it is indistinguishable and lasts twenty years; done poorly it traps bacteria at the margin and fails from underneath.

A fixed replacement carried by the teeth on either side of the gap. Fast, proven, and it costs you the outer surface of two healthy teeth.

The restoration between a filling and a crown — and often the one you should have been offered before the crown was proposed.

Straightening teeth is the visible part. Correcting how the arches meet is the part that determines whether the result holds.

The appliance that still handles what aligners cannot — and works whether or not you remember to wear it.

General cases punish the wrong choice hardest.
The unglamorous work that decides whether you ever need the glamorous work. Done well, it is invisible for twenty years.
We do not own a clinic, and no practice in our network can pay for priority. The terms are fixed in advance and identical for everyone, which means the only variable left in the recommendation is whether they are right for your case.
General questions

Every six months suits a low-risk mouth. Every three to four months is appropriate with a history of periodontal disease, diabetes, smoking, or if you have implants. The interval should follow your own pocket charting and risk, not a default booking policy — and a practice that sets it from your numbers is a practice worth keeping.
It is a fair question and a common problem. Scaling and root planing is justified when pockets measure 4mm or more with bleeding, and radiographs confirm bone loss or deposit below the gum. Ask to see your pocket chart and the radiographs. A legitimate recommendation is trivial to demonstrate; an illegitimate one is not.
If the walls of the tooth are intact and only the inner portion is damaged, a bonded onlay protects the tooth while keeping the structure a crown would remove. If walls are already missing or the tooth is badly cracked, a crown is correct. It is entirely reasonable to ask a dentist why an onlay would not suffice.
Compare total cost honestly. Root canal plus crown often lands near $2,500 to $3,500; extraction plus implant and crown is usually $4,000 to $6,500 and takes months longer. A natural tooth also keeps its ligament and proprioception, which no implant reproduces. Extraction wins only when the tooth is genuinely unrestorable.
No. Teeth move through bone at any age and adults are now a large share of orthodontic patients. The only real requirement is healthy gums and bone — active periodontal disease must be treated and stable first, because moving teeth through inflamed bone accelerates the damage.
